Wow, back safe and sound from the WRAM show. We left in a rather large snow storm that messed things up but good, but we made it down to New York with little issues other than putting up with a bunch of Giant fans.
The WRAM show wasn't as good as I thought it was going to be, maybe because of the storm, or maybe because of the massive flood of ARF's and such from China.
I did get to spend some time talking to some of the big names like Larry and Judy Katona, both two fine folks who own and operate Precision Cut Kits (http://www.precisioncutkits.com/). A few months ago Larry and Judy bought out Don Smith's stuff as he was retiring from the hobby (they also own Palmer Plans). I figured it would be a good time to pick up a set of Ju-88 A-4 plans so I did so. I'll pick up the kit and glass when I can afford to do so.
The trade for the Royal B-25 was done. Its a FANTASTIC kit, the balsa is in perfect condition as is the box. I could easily turn around and sell this for an arm and a leg but I really wanna build it.
Did a bit more work on the BUSA Fokker D.VII as well. I'm ready to install the upper wing servos tonight and get the three pieces glued together...
